Cellist, arranger, and composer Barry Phillips is part of a posse of performers dedicated to blurring the line between classical, medieval, and folk music. He draws on more than eight centuries of traditional compositions in his work, and channels it into beautifully clean, modern arrangements that are elegant yet earthy.
