FRANK A. AMENDOLA (guitar, voice, lyrics and composition)
The expression "natural leader" seems appropriate to define Frank. He's both
writer, musician and producer, and he carries on his shoulders the entire Curl's
project. He shows the way, without having to raise the tune of his voice, using
at the same time sweetness and serenity In parallel to an activity as a chemist
in a very important cosmetic laboratory, the thirty years old man managed to
give his musical project a professional frame.
Latest news, the completion in Nice of his studio La Chaise Bleue, in which he
registers Curl's productions for sure, but the electro-jazz-album too of the
bass-player Stephane Bertrand The creative harmony hasn't been that great within
the group since he's sharing his life with Chrystel Fino : "I can compose
without worrying about Chrystel's voice, I know that she'll find perfectly her
place in the songs".
CHRYSTEL FINO (voice, lyrics)
With over ten years spent singing in solo ou for rock-pop groups around the Nice
area, a simple audition in 1998 changed Chrystel's perspectives. A week after
Franck Amendola's choice to ask her to take in charge the feminin vocal register
within Curl, was she on stage with the group at The Reservoir in Paris.
Today, this young charming pretty brown hair lady, with a strong personnality
and showing an undeniable scenic attraction, is fully blossoming. A graceful
state due to the musical and intimate understanding which binds her to Frank and
as a result, makes her to become the mother of a little girl, beginning 2002.
Just thinking to be back on stage after the album Inner, Chystel is ready : she
feels herself "stimulated by the challenge to feel again the emotion contained
in the album"
CYRIL BOUSSAIS A.K.A. DUBBERMAN (programming)
One
of Frank's long-standing friend, Cyril hardened his techno and electro
background in reggae and dub groups in Nice since 1993.
From November 2000 onwards, "Dubberman" finalizes Curl's melodic and rhythmic
arrangements and completes the programmings.
This complicity has become total, leading him to take a more and more important
place among the group.
Besides and in a parallel distribution, Dubberman is editing compositions and
remixes vinyls. Curl's leader is just about to convince him to get working
seriously on a real album.
